How You Can Help Agunot:
 

Ø     Refer agunot to Agunah International for advice.

Ø     Urge your rabbis to become involved in the agunah issue and to explore halachic remedies to the problem.  Forward our website to them.

Ø     Contact Agunah International to bring a speaker to your community.

Ø     Provide support for agunot in your community by:

1.       Insisting that the recalcitrant spouse is ostracized by the community.

2.       Accompanying agunot to the beit din so that the rabbis know the community cares.

3.       Become familiar with the term “Parental Alienation” so that children are protected.  We can direct you to resources.

4.       Invite an agunah to your home on Shabbat, holidays and social occasions.
